Like many modern love stories, ours began on Hinge. We were attending the same medical school, one year apart, but somehow we never officially met through medicine. We studied in the same buildings, attended the same lectures, but it took the easiest swipe up of Harish's life to finally bring us into the same room (although Harish swears he knew exactly who Madi was before ever officially meeting). What started as a first date turned into many more, and we soon realized we wanted a life together. Between busy rotations, exam schedules, residency applications, and the general chaos of medical training, we found our person.

Harish matched in Cleveland for Internal Medicine & Cardiology, and during Madi’s fourth year, he planned a thoughtful and romantic proposal at The Capital Hotel in Little Rock. She said yes, resoundingly (of course). Madi then matched in Cleveland for OB/GYN residency, a stressful 5 months later. Now we are finishing training, as the next chapter of our shared life continues.

We are so grateful that our paths crossed, and we can’t wait to celebrate this next step surrounded by the people we love most.
